The Jackson Residence
[B]uilt in 1911, the Jackson Residence is one of Lower Mount Royal’s original homes. This two-and-a-half storey, wood framed, foursquare-plan house has a front paneled verandah, balconies and Palladian dormer windows [illegible] of the American Colonial-revival style.
The house is named after the original owner, Frank Jackson, a construction worker from [illegible]… more recently, after internationally recognized musician Billy Cowsill took up residence… [illegible] band The Cowsills, was the inspiration behind the 1970s TV show, The Partridge Family.
