Our newest digitized collection highlights a sampling of historic maps of Calgary, Alberta and Canada from the Community Heritage and Family History Map Collection at the Central Library. The print map collection contains hundreds of business, geographical, topographical, transit, and city planning maps dating back to the 18th century and contains maps as current as this year. While only a handful of maps have been digitized to date, information about the remaining maps in the print collection have been uploaded to this database in preparation for future digitization initiatives. Please note that maps published in the past 50 years will not be digitized due to copyright restrictions.
